A Safer Way To Carry Travel Money

Prepaid Forex Card, Loaded And Ready

A prepaid travel card loaded in your destination currency — a safer alternative to carrying large amounts of cash, with the same quotation-first process as our other forex services. Most forex cards can be blocked by calling the issuer's helpline if lost or stolen, unlike cash.

01

Safer than cash

Avoid carrying large sums of physical currency through airports and abroad.

02

Quotation before commitment

You see the loading rate and any charges before you pay anything.

03

Reloadable

Reload options depend on the card issuer — we confirm whether your card supports online reload before you travel.

04

Multiple currencies on one card

Some issuers let you load more than one currency on the same card — useful if your trip covers more than one country.

05

Locked-in rate at loading

Once loaded, that portion of your balance isn't affected by later currency movements, unlike cash you convert at the destination.

06

Widely accepted

Usable at most card machines and ATMs abroad, the same way you'd use a debit card at home.

Documents you'll typically need

PAN card
Passport with valid visa or travel proof, where applicable
Confirmed flight ticket or travel itinerary

FAQs

Forex Card, Answered

How is a forex card different from buying cash currency?

A forex card is a prepaid card loaded in your destination currency, so you're not carrying physical notes. It can typically be reloaded, and lost/stolen cards can usually be blocked, unlike cash.

Can I load more than one currency on the same card?

Some issuers support multiple currency wallets on one card. We'll confirm whether your chosen card supports this before you load it, based on your travel plan.

What happens if I don't use the full balance on my trip?

Unused balance usually stays on the card for a future trip, or can be exchanged back subject to the issuer's terms and applicable RBI/FEMA limits — we'll confirm the process when you're ready.
